Dans le film Houmous, différentes expressions artistiques dialoguent entre elles. Pour interroger la situation actuelle du théâtre Cervantès, un symbole politique de l’architecture Espagnole et Marocaine. La cinéaste et la peintre ont expérimenté la rencontre de plusieurs approches artistiques afin de rétablir une forme d’accès à cet ancrage culturel. En portant leur regard sur des portes closes, elles ouvrent une conversation vidéographique et picturale.

The purpose of the film Houmous, is to merge two several expressions. To question the current situation of the Cervantes theater, a political symbol of Spanish and Moroccan architecture. The filmmaker and the painter experimented, with the meeting of several artistic approaches, in order to restore a form of access to this cultural anchorage. By looking at closed doors, they open up a videographic and pictorial conversation.
